I appreciate your comment and thinking about "seen and not heard" being an anti-social world-view that is not or is never powerful. The way I am triggered is that an anti-social orientation implies that your intentions or purposes are to avoid contributing, which will most likely be interpreted as threat(s) of not wanting to help and will eventually result in being asked or forced to leave.

Thanks for the post. While you asked us for cliches we have encountered, I was triggered strongly by your main theme. I cannot think of any context where "seen and not heard" is powerful as a posture. Choosing to speak or not to speak is a powerful move, but "seen and not heard" suggests an anti-social orientation or world-view that suppresses engaging. I could see it being interpreted that way, anyway.

Hi Mario,

You're welcome. I am looking forward to watching your company grow. Please keep me posted as you add new services.

Your super-secret technology sounds really powerful and may be your special sauce to dominate the VPS space!

Mike's example is extreme and switching Operating Systems is very costly in this case more so in the time, energy and lost opportunities.

And you are right, I don't want to become your help desk support.

Thanks for writing!

I really appreciate all the posts you have written about us, and I certainly hope to talk to you more often in the future. Comments like this help us grow and improve, day after day.

Btw. switching hosts is easy, we have super-secret technology that steals a VM from another provider and transfers it to ours ;)

Cheers.

I personally use smart friends like you.

And no, I won't we switching my primary OS to Linux anytime soon. I accept your assertions, but it doesn't seem practical in my case... and you probably don't want to become my remedial help desk.

Hey there Rick,

seems like part of your post got cut-off? Anyway, you need to run r1soft-cki only when you get a new kernel, not when you install *anything*.

Hope that helps, and thanks fror the write-ups.

Hi Mario,

I appreciate the clarification and additional information on how R1soft works. Based on the admittedly quick research that I did with R1soft, it wasn't clear how quickly I could recover in the event that I needed to do so. In addition, it wasn't clear to me what, who and how I would control the space allocated by previous backups and strategies for managing my them.

What shows up for me in this was that there was more information available on Linode.com than your website and in this case, that proved to be enough for me to choose them over 6sync.com. My recommendation is to add additional information on the capabilities of backup so this doesn't prevent other people from misinterpreting what capabilities that you offer.

Best Regards
